Back to the weights

So after a 3 week hiatus, I hit the gym at lunch today for some strength training. My speed work tomorrow may suffer from it but I gotta get the weights in somehow..

Mostly concentrated on legs, but also did a variety of abs/core, back, arms and shoulders...

Hack Squats: 3 X 15 50pds
extensions: 3 X 15 20 pds
curls: 3 X 15 20 pds
squats w/ barbell 2 x 15 10 pds
walking lunges 3 X 30 10 pds
abductors 2 X 20 60 pds
adductors 2 X 20 60 pds
calf raises 3 X 15 12 pds

20 minutes abs/core

Biceps: standing bicep curl 3 X 15 12 pds/ hammer curls 3 X 15 12 pds
triceps: dips w/ bench 3 X 20 / lying dumbell overhead press 3 x 15 10 pds
back: seated cable row 2 X 15 20 pds / roman chair: 3 X 15
shoulders: side and front lateral raises # X 15 10 pds / dumbell overhead press: 3 x 15 10 pds
traps: upright cable row 2 X 15 20 pds

Headed to Springfield Running Center after work to get some better running socks.. plain cotton doesn't cut it with these long miles... don't want a blister and I've come close a couple of times now... must get rid of the cotton socks!!

Weights too eh? You are like a super woman..good thing you don't work full time, take care of a 7 year old and make a wonderful home for your husband while making dinner, cleaning, shopping, doing the wifely things...oh wait...YOU DO ALL THAT TOO!!!!!!

What is it they say?? "COTTON IS ROTTEN?? For sure!! Got set up last night w/ good socks..Balega and Wrightsocks... did some research and they seem to work for tons of people..
