I guess the trick to getting 3rd place in a race is to miss a turn and come in way under what you were expecting too! Somehow it worked for me. Go figure!

That is awesome. Not only you got a medal, you even received a personal note. Very cool! When people ask, how many were in your age group? I say, it doesnt matter. I showed up and I placed. That is all it counts. Keep up with your training.
